Brian F.P. Murphy, K.C.

Brian Murphy is a seasoned King’s Counsel litigator with extensive experience in personal injury, employment, and commercial litigation. Brian has represented clients at all levels of court in New Brunswick, Ontario, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland & Labrador, and the Federal Court of Canada, including the Supreme Court of Canada. Fluent in both French and English, he is a proud member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of Upper Canada, and the Law Society of New Brunswick, and a former President of the Moncton Area Lawyers’ Association.

Brian holds a B.A. from Dalhousie University, an LL.B. from the University of New Brunswick, and an LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School. Appointed as King’s Counsel in 2015, he is recognized for his legal expertise and commitment to his community.

Beyond his legal career, Brian has made significant contributions to public service. As a former City Councillor and Mayor of Moncton, he spearheaded major city projects, including the development of the water treatment facility, the construction of the Fourplex and Sportsplex, and the city’s designation as Canada’s first officially bilingual city. His leadership earned him the Prix Dialogue, the Phoenix Award from the U.S. EPA, and the Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters from France.

Brian also served as Member of Parliament for Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe from 2006 to 2011, holding key roles such as Atlantic Caucus Chairman, Critic for Democratic Reform, and Critic for Justice. He was inducted into the Order of Moncton in 2020 and recently served as President of the New Brunswick Liberal Party.

Currently, Brian is active with the Capitol Theater Foundation, La Theatre l’Escaouette Fundraising Campaign, and the Peter McKee Foodbank Fundraising Drive.

​

Outside of his professional life, Brian enjoys travelling, early Irish folk music, French cooking, and exploring fine red wines. He dreams of traversing the Panama Canal and visiting Machu Picchu. A dedicated family man, Brian is married with three daughters and is a passionate fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Alexandre C. Robichaud

Alexandre Robichaud is a proud Acadian with roots right here in New Brunswick. He received his Juris Doctor from the Université de Moncton in 2020 and was called to the Law Society of New Brunswick in June of 2021. Prior to studying law, Alexandre obtained a Bachelor of Business with specialization in Human Resources from Lakehead University in 2016 and completed a Master of Business Administration from Lakehead University in 2017.

 

Alexandre's primary goal is to provide a client-centered service, dedicated to achieving the best possible results for his clients. Recognizing the complexity of the law, Alexandre is devoted to providing clients with comprehensive yet understandable information at every step of the process.

With a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for the law, Alexandre understands the importance of providing strategic and practical advice to help his clients quickly resolve their issues in a practical and efficient manner.

 

Alexandre is a member of the Law Society of New Brunswick and the Canadian Bar Association. Alexandre is actively involved in his community and currently sits on the Board of Directors of the United Way. When not at work, Alexandre enjoys spending time outdoors, playing basketball and spending time with his family.
 
Alexandre is fluent in both official languages and regularly assists clients in both French and English.

Antonio Sanchez Miller

Antonio Sanchez Miller graduated from the University of Moncton with his Juris Doctor after completing an undergrad in philosophy. He then furthered his education by studying Quebec civil law at the University of Montreal.

​

Throughout his career, Antonio has embraced diverse roles. His legal journey began as a student, focusing on immigration applications, and advocating for individuals seeking new opportunities. He's worked as a Court Clerk for the Ministry of Justice in Quebec, working closely with judges to organize court dates and meticulously document judgments.

 

Finally, Antonio spent time as a research assistant in a national antibiotic monitoring project, collaborating with the University of Montreal and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food.

Antonio's trilingual fluency and strong communication skills have enabled him to build meaningful relationships with his clients and approach life enthusiastically and determinedly!

Alix Coulombe

Alix is an Articling Student with the Brian Murphy Law Group. She is primarily interested in litigation, tort law, criminal law, family law and wills & estates law.

​

Alix completed the Juris Doctor program at Université de Moncton in April 2023. Prior to her legal studies, she obtained a Degree in Criminology and a minor in Psychology.

 

During her time studying law, Alix was actively involved on multiple fronts. In her first year of law school, she volunteered with the Pro Bono Student Canada program and eventually became the General Coordinator of the program during her third year. Alix was also the Vice President of Communications for two consecutive years of the University of Moncton's Law Student Association.

Alix is recipient of several scholarships, notably from the Foundation for the Advancement of Law in New Brunswick and the New Brunswick Bar Association.

She's a solutions-driven professional who's dedicated to supporting her clients. Proudly Acadien from Kedgwick, in Northern New Brunswick, Alix can assist clients in both French and English.
